Throw a Big Lunch to win a visit from The Gruffalo!
For the next three weeks, The Big Lunch is offering all those who are holding a Big Lunch the chance to win a visit from the real Gruffalo at their event! Your very special guest will deliver a Gruffalo themed party pack to help make your Big Lunch day even more special.
Four lucky runner-up lunchers will also receive a Gruffalo party pack for their Big Lunch.
The Big Lunch will take place this year on Sunday 3 June, but you can hold a Big Lunch at your school, on your street or in your community group between Friday 1 – Monday 4 June to be in with a chance of winning a visit from the Gruffalo.
The Gruffalo recently paid a visit to The Angel Hope Memorial Garden Big Lunch in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, and made a very big impression! Ty McConaghy (6) and Nyloh Spence (5) were “beside themselves with excitement” according to organiser Nicola Spence, who is Nyloh’s mother and Ty’s aunt. She said: “They are obsessed with books and The Gruffalo is a favourite. The Gruffalo book is a regular feature in our bedtime routine. Both Ty and Nyloh are quite tiny and Mouse is their hero, because he is little and mighty.”
To enter, all you need to do is sign up to take part in The Big Lunch by registering for a free Big Lunch pack here, and then send your confirmation email to communities@edenproject.com with ‘Gruffalo competition entry’ in the subject line.
The deadline for entries is midnight on 23rd May 2018. The competition is only open to residents of England and Wales.
