The lighthouse is open plus discover the great variety of wildlife that calls Souter it's home all year round. In the lighthouse, kids can explore how coastal navigation works & colourful hands-on activity tables show how lighthouse keepers kept ships safe. Climbing to the top of the tower is an adventure for all ages, rewarded by views that stretch for miles. Plus you can explore the coast at your own pace with The Souter Saunter downloadable walking trail - an easy 2 mile route takes in bird viewing screens in the nature reserve &great places to spot seabirds along the cliff top stretch. The car park, grounds, café & toilets are open every day with the café & toilets open 10am-5pm daily. Tickets no longer need to be booked in advance.
