Platinum Jubilee art competition for Leicestershire Schools

Leicestershire County Council is on the lookout for primary schools to enter their Platinum Jubilee art competition.

The brief is simple – paint a picture about what The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee means to you. Anything goes!

The maximum size for entries is A3. The closing date for entries is Friday 1 April 2022.

The competition is open to children in KS1 and KS2 year groups with a winner and runner-up award for each group.

To enter, select a winner from your school for each category - KS1 and KS2. Please send a scan of your winning artwork entries (in PDF format) by email to jubileeartcomp@leics.gov.uk. Please make sure the child’s name is visible on each painting and the email includes:

All entries will be displayed on the Councils website in a virtual exhibition and the overall winner of each category will receive a visit from the Lord-Lieutenant who will present them with their winner’s certificate at their school. The winner will also receive a FREE family ticket to the award-winning Wistow Maze.

Each runner-up will receive a certificate from the Lord Lieutenant.
