‘Get Funky’ this January to help local families in need
Charity Link is a local charity supporting vulnerable families in hardship and crisis. On Friday 25th January Charity Link is inviting schools, businesses and individuals to support its dress up event, Wear a Funky Scarf Day, to help raise funds. For every £10 raised Charity Link can provide £50 worth of essential items to those in need, including food, grants for utilities, clothing (including winter coats and school uniforms), beds and cookers so vulnerable families can have a hot meal. The event is fun and simple to support; wear your favourite or most funky scarf on the day and donate an amount of your choice to help improve local lives.
