A new visitor experience exploring the methods used to bring the nene, the world's rarest goose, back from the brink of extinction. WWT Slimbridge founder Sir Peter Scott pioneered these methods and you can visit the duckery, with its rearing tanks and enclosures, to learn about the ground-breaking techniques he developed. Discover how the centre applies his science to breeding birds today, including another endangered species, the Madagascan Pochard. Standard admission applies.
