Celebrate Mother's Day at Epping Ongar Railway
The Epping Ongar Railway had a spectacular 2019 carrying nearly 46,000 passengers. This came about by a range of interesting events held throughout the year including visits by Peppa Pig, the Gruffalo, dinosaurs and of course over Christmas by Santa and his elves.
However, for the first time the Railway is running three special Mother's Day services. Mums will be carried on one of the heritage carriages whilst enjoying a stylish brunch, lunch or afternoon tea all with a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival.
The menus have been selected to cater for all tastes and include exciting items such as Avocado, Basil, Sun-blush Tomato & Spinach filled roll for brunch. The lunch menu offers a tasty chicken, sage and pancetta ballotine and trio of desserts whilst afternoon tea provides a selection of classic sandwiches such as coronation chicken, hummus, grated carrot and corriander along with a wonderful selection of cakes and scones.
