Families invited to public meetings over school changes

Parents and carers are being invited to public meetings this month over proposed changes to schooling in West Lothian.

West Lothian Council has launched three separate school consultations due to the creation of a new secondary school in Winchburgh, a primary school at Calderwood and the relocation of Holy Family Primary school in Winchburgh.

A public meeting about the new non-denominational secondary at Winchburgh is on Wednesday, October 9, a public meeting about the relcation of Holy Family RC Primary in Winchburgh is on Thursday, October 10 and for the non-denominational primary at Calderwood is on Thursday, October 24.

West Lothian Council is conducting the statutory consultations via public meetings and consultation packs, which are available to download on the council’s website.
