Visit the three Asiatic lion cubs Edinburgh Zoo! The cubs were named by Edinburgh residents after the birth of two boys and a girl last year. Named in tribute to the Gir forest in western India where the endangered species is found, the girl is called Mitaali, meaning graceful or beautiful, while the two boys are Keshari, meaning lion or saffron, and Kushanu meaning fire.
