Christmas is looking different this year for obvious reasons, however there are still events going ahead at the time of writing.  It is likely that any events going ahead will have limited availability and be extremely popular so make sure that you book ahead.  Each link below will also feature more detailed information about their social distancing restrictions/guidelines.

  1. Christmas Lives at Adventure Wonderland

Multi Primary Times Dorset Award-Winning attraction Adventure Wonderland, are busy putting together their fantastic Christmas event for 2020.

You will be able to enjoy ‘The Santa Show’, an interactive magical, musical production in the Happydrome Theatre that with Covid-secure spacing where visitors will be able to enjoy the show from their very own reindeer stable pod. 

A visit to Adventure Wonderland will also include 3 of their rides: the Curvy Caterpillars, the Turbo Teacups and the Sarafi Jeeps as part of the admission ticket

  1. Happily Ever After at Lighthouse Poole

Written and directed by CBeebies’ Chris Jarvis, join him and  CBBC presenters Naomi Wilkinson and Ed Petrie and a talented cast of singers and dancers for this perfect Christmas treat for the whole family.

This one-hour Christmas show is designed for a socially distanced audience and features a mix of pantomime and children’s story book characters

  1. IGNITE Trail at Kingston Lacy

Visit this trail of light, lanterns, fantasy and fire on selected days between 11th and 30th December in the gardens of the National Trust Kingston Lacy.

The hour-long discovery trail has been specially designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy so you can expect the unexpected as you glimpse fairies in the Fernery, fiery fish and woodland wildlife sculpted in willow all within an enchanting landscape filled with wonder.
