Spooky Watch in Cheshire

The nights are drawing in, there are spider webs galore, and pumpkins are making an appearance…yes, Halloween is nearly upon us! So dig out those witches and goblin costumes once more, as there are plenty of ghoulish goings-on for your little ones to enjoy. From zombie pirates to wicked wizards, these frightful friendly events are sure to get all the family into the spooky spirit.

 

Fancy a little friendly frightening on the farm? 

Red House Farm is all set to put the friendly frighteners on you when you visit them from the 19th to 27thOctober! You can have family fun on the barrel train rides, climbing wall, bouncy castle, join a spooky hunt and get ghoulish in their fancy dress competition! No need to book, just turn up! In the run up to Halloween, they will be offering ‘pick your own pumpkin’ in their field on weekends of the 5th-6th & 12th -13th October, and then every day from the 19th -27th October. Calling all magical beings! 

Arch-wizard Fumblefoot has called a Great Wizard‘s Gathering at the Medieval Old Hall this Halloween half term…Your mission: to conjure, to magic and to fight off the dragon attack and save the world from a fiery future! Bring out your magical side; give your wizard some wizz, your pixie some dust, and roar up your monster on an immersive 2 hour family friendly adventure through curious forests and magical workshops! Dare you brave the Halloween Ghost Trains? 

An evil curse has taken hold of the East Lancashire Railway’s Halloween Ghost Trains running from 31stOctober and 1st – 2nd November and only a highly trained team of terrors can hope to break its grasp! Join the railway’s own monster squad for a steam train hauled evening of frightening, family-friendly fun. Can you help Count Brian the Vampire tell a tall tale, or help Veronica the witch cast a spell as they work to solve the mystery of the golden leg? Will you brave the Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail this half term?

Head to Blakemere this half term for some spooktacular happenings! Try out their spooky Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail with new interactive activities and discover the hidden treasure left there by the Zombie Pirates many years ago. For each completed trail map, an Activity Prize will be won and there are prizes for best dressed, so don’t forget to don your scariest outfit! Open daily from 19th October – 3rd November and suitable for children aged 3-11.
