Enjoy all the fun of the Cirquoise.

From Friday 26th July to Sunday 11th August, the Big Top is at Gates.

Bring the whole family and be amazed and astounded by the skills of Cirquoise, a new style family circus with all the acts we love – from laughter-filled clowns to death-defying acrobatics, breathtaking jugglers, and awesome contortionists.

Our wonderful artistes, with their long heritage of Italian and British circus are bringing their unique show to the Leicestershire countryside for the first time, perfect for entertaining your little ones and not so little ones during the school holidays.

Our all-human hour-long shows run from 11am, 2pm & 4:30pm

There’s no interval but enjoy Candyfloss, Popcorn, Doughnuts, Slush & Drinks ringside.

Still hungry? As a special treat, whilst the Circus is here, see the epic food trucks serving handmade beef burgers, handmade sausage patties, chicken goujons and chips plus sweet and savoury crepes. There’s also our fabulous ice cream trike. Want a rest after all that fun?  Gates Garden Restaurant and Courtyard Coffee Shop make the perfect, quieter stopping off point…and relax. (The Garden Centre and eateries are closed once the 4:30pm show ends, but food trucks will be open)

Children under 2 go free (the child has to sit on the parents lap) In the big top we have a pushchair and child travel seat parking area.

Doors open 45 minutes prior to showtime and seating is allocated on arrival.

Please bring your e-ticket / booking receipt to the box office.

Customers with additional needs

We warmly welcome all customers to Cirquoise at Gates. Should you have additional needs regarding accessibility or any other requirement, please e-mail us in the first instance at events@gatesgardencentre.co.uk or telephone us on 01664 454309. Our team will be happy to discuss your booking, and any requirements you may have.

Customers requiring the support of a companion during their visit may be eligible for a complimentary Essential Companion Ticket. Please apply by emailing events@gatesgardencentre.co.uk. To support your application please also attach a copy of one of the documents listed below. The document you choose to submit should ideally be the most recent copy, dated within the last 18 months:

• Blue Badge Permit
• Disabled Persons Railcard
• Disabled Persons Bus Pass
• National Disability Card
• Access, CredAbility or Nimbus card
• Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) card
• A letter of support from a Care Professional, Doctor, Therapist or other Healthcare Professional
• Certificate of Visual Impairment (or Vista Card for audience members living in Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland)

All seating and accessibility requirements are subject to availability.

By booking an Essential Companion Ticket, your companion – who should be aged 16 years or older – accepts full responsibility for supporting you during your time at Gates Garden Centre & Cirquise. They should be both capable of and available to support you throughout the entirety of your visit, including in an emergency scenario or evacuation.

Parking

Free parking is available in Gates main car park. During the show there will be a number of disabled parking spaces adjacent to the Circus field, which are in addition to the disabled parking spaces in front of Gates main entrance.

Toilets

Please note, there are no toilets adjacent to the Circus tent. All toilets, including accessible toilets and baby changing, are located inside the Garden Centre which is across the car park.
